Job summary

Twoday in Copenhagen is seeking a Java Developer to join as a permanent consultant for a major public sector client. You will work full-time onsite, delivering secure, scalable enterprise Java applications within a multi-supplier delivery environment.

You will strengthen backend services with Spring, REST, Docker and Linux, contribute to CI/CD via Azure DevOps, and help move toward cloud-native Kubernetes architectures using AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Java development.
• Experience with Spring Framework and REST services.
• Experience with Docker and Linux.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with Gradle or similar build tools.
• Experience working with modern Open Source technologies.
• An interest in software quality, automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining enterprise Java applications.
• Building REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring.
• Developing and maintaining containerised applications with Docker.
• Working with Linux-based environments and modern Open Source technologies.
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Supporting the transition towards cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes.
• Using AI-assisted development tools to improve software development, testing and documentation.
• Collaborating with architects, developers and specialists across multiple suppliers in a large-scale delivery organisation.
