Job summary

Falck in Denmark is seeking a student assistant for IT Field Support & Services. You will join a small team handling both front-end and back-end IT support, including administrative tasks related to mobile phones and subscriptions, with a service-minded, problem-solving mindset.

The role offers 16–20 hours weekly, mainly 8–16, with flexibility for exam periods and study needs. Fluency in English and Danish is required, and a good grasp of Windows environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Interest and experience in standard PC environment.
• Experience working in Windows 11.
• In IT education, beginner to mid level.
• Understanding of PC hardware and connectivity.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Fluent English and Danish.

About the job

You will be part of a team of IT supporters, where you share both the front-end and back-end tasks including administrative tasks related to mobile phones / mobile subscriptions. We expect you to be extremely service-minded with a problem-solving mindset and with a good understanding of IT environments. An interest in IT and technology as well as service management is essential for the role and you will be working with a wide range of systems, technologies and internal processes.

As a student assistant you will be expected to work between 16-20 hours each week, with the majority of these hours placed between 8-16 during a normal work week. There is some degree of flexibility regarding which days and how you place the hours, which can be agreed with your manager. This is especially important when your studies require more than normal from you, for instance in regards to exam periods.

About us

IT Field Support & Services, Europe is a department under Global IT that provide IT services in all countries where Falck has larger operations. In Denmark, we are a team of 3 full-time resources and 3 student assistants and we are now looking into expanding.

About you

• Have an interest and experience in standard PC environment
• Have experience working in Windows 11
• Are in the beginning or middle or relevant IT education
• Have understanding for PC hardware, how it connects and operates
• Are comfortable to work in outlook, excel and word
• Are well structured and interested in learning, understanding and improving internal processes

Fluency in written and spoken English and Danish is required.
