Job summary

Arla Foods A.m.b.a. is seeking a Solution Consultant to bridge business needs and IT in the sustainability space, focusing on Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and the PEF standard.

You will translate business requirements into IT solutions, collaborate with architects, engineers and data scientists, and help deliver high-quality sustainability IT solutions aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in solution design and requirements analysis.
• Strong communication skills with non-IT stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience translating business needs into IT requirements and supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate data and propose solution options.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and PCF/GHG protocols is an advantage.

Are you a self-driven and analytical professional with a passion for sustainability and data-driven decision-making, who enjoys working close to the business to turn sustainability ambitions into concrete IT solutions?

“As a Solution Consultant your primary focus will be to understand and define business requirements in the sustainability area, focusing on Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) based on the PEF standard. You will be helping with defining the future of sustainability in Arla and create IT solutions to support the business in achieving strategic sustainability goals,” says Lars Skov Sarbæk, Senior IT Product Architect.

How you will make an impact

As a Solution Consultant, you will work with complex tasks and projects across the commercial sustainability domain. You will act as a key link between business and IT, helping translate business needs into clear IT requirements and supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions in close collaboration with architects, engineers, data scientists and business subject matter experts. Your key responsibilities include

• Communicating solutions to business stakeholders and supporting implementation into existing and new processes.
• Contributing to solution documentation and supporting roadmap development together with the Product Owner and Product Architect.
• Clarifying and translating business needs into IT requirements and solution input.
• Investigating data quality issues and supporting improvements.
• Contributing to IT solution design and supporting development teams with analysis and clarifications.
• Reviewing and testing solutions to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards.

• Experience translating business needs into IT requirements and supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate data and propose solution options.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices, such as PCF and Green House Gas protocol (GHG) is an advantage, but not a requirement.
