Job summary

Eurowind Energy A/S invites applicants for an IT Security Apprentice position in Hobro as part of the Data Technician education. You will gain hands-on experience across IT security and infrastructure, collaborating with a skilled team in a fast-paced renewable-energy company.

You'll work on real security tasks, from threat handling and risk management to incident response, with opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and contribute to security governance and infrastructure operations.

• Identify and help handle threats and vulnerabilities in IT systems
• Support the implementation of security measures in software and infrastructure
• Gain exposure to risk management and governance (ISMS and compliance)
• Assist with operation and administration of network, cloud, and infrastructure environments
• Learn incident response and awareness training
• Support backup and restore processes
• Work with IT Operations on servers, VMs, storage, and Windows & Linux systems

We are looking for a motivated apprentice to join our IT Operations team in Hobro as part of your Data Technician education with a specialization in cybersecurity. You will get hands-on experience across IT security and infrastructure, working alongside skilled colleagues in a fast-paced team that has fun getting the job done - while working toward your education.

Your Role

As our new IT Security Apprentice, you will complete the practical part of your Data Technician specialising in Security education within our IT Operations & Services team, working on real security and infrastructure tasks alongside experienced colleagues. Your tasks and responsibilities will develop as your skills grow, and depending on where you are in your studies, this will include:

• Identifying and helping handle threats and vulnerabilities in our IT systems
• Supporting the implementation of security measures in software and infrastructure
• Getting exposure to risk management and governance, including ISMS and compliance requirements
• Assisting with the operation and administration of our network, cloud, and infrastructure environments
• Learning about incident response and awareness training
• Supporting backup and restore processes in line with our standards and requirements
• Working alongside the IT Operations team on servers, virtual machines, storage, and Windows & Linux systems

We imagine you are:

• Currently enrolled in, or about to start, the Data Technician specialising in Security programme (or an equivalent Data- og kommunikationsuddannelse) and looking for an apprenticeship. Or that you already are educated as an IT-supporter and want to study the Data Technician specialising in Security top-up programme.
• Curious about IT security and infrastructure, and eager to learn on the job
• Structured and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in how systems and networks work
• A team player who isn't afraid to ask questions and takes ownership of the tasks given to you
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you'll be trusted with real responsibility as you progress

As this role involves exposure to critical infrastructure and security-related tasks, a clean criminal record is required, and you must be eligible for security clearance.
