UNOPS is seeking a Deputy Director (a.i) to lead day-to-day operations across IPMG during a major restructuring. You will be the Director's operational hinge, ensuring continuous service delivery and effective change management across multi-disciplinary teams in a complex environment.

The role demands a proven leader in operational management, risk assessment and cross-functional coordination, with experience guiding teams through organizational change in international settings, based in Denmark

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Engineering or related disciplines with 12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree (or equivalent) in any of the above disciplines with 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Desirable: Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI) or Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
• Progressively responsible leadership experience in operational management, programme delivery or corporate strategy.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing day-to-day operational leadership of IPMG practice areas and support teams to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Acting as central pillar of support during restructuring, addressing concerns and communicating changes clearly.
• Fostering cross-team collaboration and resolving operational bottlenecks across IPMG units.
• Advising the Director with real-time operational insights, risk assessments and strategic recommendations.
• Managing resource allocation to maintain business continuity during the transition.
