Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Development Engineer to join the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde, Denmark. You will own end-to-end development of high-speed optical transceivers for next-generation data center interconnects.

You will lead development programs from requirements to production release, collaborating with system architects, firmware, optics, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. Strong ownership and lab expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience in high-speed optical or digital communication systems.
• Hands-on lab measurement, validation, and debugging of high-speed hardware.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive projects independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, adaptation, and validation of high-speed optical transceivers.
• Lead development programs from requirements to production release.
• Collaborate with system architects, firmware, optics, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and ops teams.
• Perform lab bring-up, debugging, and prototype optimization.
• Characterize electronics and optics to industry standards; support root-cause analysis.
