Design immersive interactive experiences that enhance LEGO® play. Location: Billund, Denmark Duration: 5 months Internship period: February-June 2027 Application deadline: 1 November 2026
You’ll be part of the LEGO Interaction Design Team, a tight-knit group of design specialists dedicated to creating immersive interactive play experiences. Your ideas will make a tangible impact on children globally as you design user interfaces, prototypes and interactive elements that enhance how builders engage and play with LEGO sets.
You are pursuing a degree in Interaction Design, Interactive Design, Integrated Design, Game Design or another related field. You are familiar with software engines such as Unity, Unreal or Blender, together with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools. Experience with Vuforia AR, mixed reality, digital prototyping, Ableton Live, Max/MSP, Arduino or Figma is a plus. You have experience working with integrated design and prototyping tools such as Arduino or similar.
We offer internships across several design disciplines. Explore the different opportunities and apply only for the roles that genuinely align with your education, strengths and ambitions. Applying for every position will not increase your chances and can make it harder for us to understand where your passion, potential and dreams truly belong.
The LEGO DESiGN organization is home to more than 600 creative professionals from around the world, united by a shared ambition to create meaningful play experiences. Different design disciplines, perspectives and crafts come together to turn ideas into products and experiences enjoyed across the globe.
As an intern, you will step into this creative environment and see how collaboration, curiosity, craft and experimentation shape the work. You will contribute your perspective while learning how a world-class design organization brings the future of play to life.
One program. One unforgettable experience. The LEGO DESiGN Internship Program is a shared journey. From your first day in Billund, you will join a dedicated onboarding experience, be supported by a mentor and become part of an international community of design interns learning alongside one another. You will be trusted to bring your point of view, encouraged to experiment and given space to grow your craft through real creative work. This is a chance to stretch yourself, build work you are proud of and create relationships that can continue well beyond the internship.
You will share accommodation with fellow design interns, making everyday life in Billund part of the adventure. Conversations can continue over dinner, new places can be discovered together, and friendships and networks will grow along the way.
Come build your craft, your community and the next chapter of your design journey with us.
