Installation Design Manager contributes to Hitachi’s responsibility to plan, manage and carry out installations in a railway environment, including site readiness, installation approvals, SAT support and handover to system integration and operation. Its specific contribution is to lead installation design, routeing/access solutions, shop-drawing maturity and site-ready design packages.
Accountable for installation design maturity and constructability of assigned packages. Authorised to request site data, reject incomplete installation inputs and recommend design corrections before work release. Field changes require configuration/change approval before incorporation. Mandate Ensure designs can be installed safely, efficiently and in a way that supports testing, maintenance and handover.
