Job summary

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a highly qualified Full-Stack Developer to join our Global IT team. You will work across backend and frontend, building and supporting applications that scale and stay secure in a modern cloud environment.

The role requires hands-on development with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, containerized deployments, and strong collaboration with Security, Infra, and business process owners. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python backend development with modern frameworks.
• Experience building frontend with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs and containerized apps.
• Experience with RBAC, authentication, and SSO.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and production monitoring.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications in production.
• Design REST-based APIs and implement scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security and Infra.
• Ensure secure access, RBAC, and proper permissions.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive performance improvements.
