Job summary

Danish Refugee Council is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join the Global IT team in Copenhagen. You will develop, maintain, and support critical applications across the global IT landscape, spanning backend and frontend, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.

You will work across the full application lifecycle—from development to deployment and troubleshooting—driving improvements in performance and operational stability while aligning with cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python backend development with modern frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React for frontend development.
• Experience building REST APIs, containerized apps with Docker, and modern architectures.
• Experience handling complex data flows and near real-time events.
• Experience with Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.
• Experience with RBAC, authentication, authorization, and SSO.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications in production environments.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of applications.
• Ensure secure access with proper role-based authorization across applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify root causes and ensure timely resolution.
• Design and implement REST-based APIs and modern app architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
