Job summary

iPS Powerful People (B Corp™) seeks an Immersion Master in Rødbyhavn, Denmark. You will own ballast plans, supervise the float-up of tunnel elements, and coordinate with marine and offshore operations on site.

The role requires a qualified civil engineer or naval architect with 10+ years in immersion of large structures, and strong stability/hydrodynamics expertise. You will lead documentation, risk assessments, and critical decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

• Qualified civil engineer with expertise in hydrodynamics or naval architecture/naval engineering.
• 10+ years’ immersion experience with large structures and offshore operations.
• Proven ability to own operations, documentation and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Strong understanding of stability, weight control, trim and hydrodynamics.
• Ability to write and review operational documentation across engineering, outfitting, and marine operations.
• Decisive, structured and clear under operational pressure.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own weight and ballast plans for tunnel elements (concrete and water) and lead related operations: float-up, transfers, mooring, immersion and post-immersion stability.
• Coordinate with outfitting and marine operations to implement plans and assist during float-up.
• Lead operation manuals, drawings, test and inspection plans, and contingency procedures; manage interfaces with other departments.
