Qualifications

• Seasoned maritime professional with vessel operations experience.
• Knowledge of Maersk design standards and operational philosophy.
• Familiar with IMO, EU and class regulations affecting design and operation.
• Ability to translate operational needs into technical specifications.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to relocate for Copenhagen and shipyard assignments.
• Eligibility to live and work in Denmark without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with naval architecture, electrical, and machinery teams to integrate operations into vessel specs.
• Oversee build execution at shipyards and ensure design intent and operational readiness.
• Support commissioning and early testing focusing on reliability and maintainability.
• Document lessons learned to improve future newbuilds.
