Job summary

PanTarg is a Danish biotechnology company located on site at the BioInnovation Institute (BII) in Copenhagen. We are seeking a scientist with strong hands-on experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and target expression analyses to drive data generation for key readouts and business decisions.

The successful candidate will have a PhD and 3–5 years in pharma/biotech or as a postdoc, with additional in vitro biology and pharmacology experience desirable.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with 3–5 years of pharma/biotech/postdoc experience preferred.
• Experience in histology and IHC with target/biomarker scoring and tissue microarrays (TMA).
• Experience with tissue handling, sectioning and staining, ideally with digital image‑analysis software such as QuPath.
• Strong scientific communication skills and ability to present data to a professional audience.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Generate and analyze data for key readouts and business decisions, including safety assessments and clinical indication selection.
• Perform histology and IHC experiments, scoring, and data interpretation.
• Maintain and optimize tissue handling, sectioning, and staining protocols; apply image analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with the CSO and team; clearly communicate results to stakeholders.
