Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a senior leader to own and evolve Identity Security across IT, OT and cloud, reporting to the CISO. You will steer strategy, roadmap, and delivery while leading a team of identity and cybersecurity professionals globally.

You will partner with Digital Technology, Generation, IT and OT teams and external partners to secure access governance, authentication, and identity assurance, enabling safe, scalable transformation across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading identity security, IAM, and cybersecurity platforms in a complex organisation.
• Proven people leadership with track record of building high-performing teams.
• Ability to translate cyber strategy and regulatory needs into a product roadmap.
• Degree in cybersecurity, IT, engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, operating model, and roadmap for Ørsted's Identity Security capability across IT, OT and cloud environments.
• Lead, develop, and empower a team of identity and cybersecurity specialists.
• Prioritise initiatives based on cyber risk, regulatory requirements, business value, and delivery capacity.
• Drive identity-related delivery across transformation programmes including IGA modernisation, NIS2, UK NIS CAF, and OT identity security.
• Strengthen core capabilities across access governance, privileged access management, directory services, authentication, federation, and identity assurance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Generation, Digital Technology, Cybersecurity, Audit, Legal, HR and external partners.
• Improve platform resilience, control effectiveness, automation, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on identity security strategy, risks, and investment priorities.
