Job summary

Ørsted is seeking an experienced Identity Security leader to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT, OT and cloud identity capabilities, owning a critical security platform and leading a global team.

You will translate cyber strategy into practical delivery, prioritise initiatives by risk and value, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive secure adoption across IT, OT, and business partners.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading identity security within a complex organisation.
• Proven people leadership experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Experience across IT, OT and cloud environments with secure identity controls.
• Ability to translate cyber strategy and regulatory requirements into a clear product vision and roadmap.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders on risks, trade-offs, and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, operating model, and roadmap for Ørsted's Identity Security across IT, OT, and cloud environments.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of identity and cybersecurity professionals.
• Prioritise initiatives based on cyber risk, regulatory requirements, business value, and delivery capacity.
• Drive identity-related delivery across transformation programmes including IGA modernisation, NIS2, UK NIS CAF, and OT identity security.
• Strengthen core capabilities across access governance, privileged access management, directory services, authentication, federation, and identity assurance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Generation, Digital Technology, Cybersecurity, Audit, Legal, HR and external partners to ensure secure adoption.
• Improve platform resilience, control effectiveness, automation, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on identity security strategy, risks, and investment priorities.
