Job summary

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking an Identity & Security Architect to define, govern, and evolve our identity, security, and Microsoft technology architecture within a global IT team. You will shape our IAM strategy, enforce governance, and drive security-by-design across the organization to support our humanitarian mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft technologies in enterprise environments.
• Minimum 3 years in solution/enterprise/security architecture or technical leadership.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Identity & Access Management.
• Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Privileged Access Management.
• Experience defining architecture standards, governance frameworks, and security controls.
• Experience translating business requirements into secure technology solutions.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern DRC's Identity, Security, and Microsoft technology architecture roadmap.
• Own and govern Identity & Access Management architecture.
• Define standards and roadmaps for Entra ID, CA, MFA, and Privileged Access Management.
• Drive Zero Trust architecture and security-by-design principles.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance activities.
• Define and maintain security architecture standards and controls.
• Advise on Defender, Sentinel, threat protection, and monitoring capabilities.
• Establish governance frameworks for identity and information protection.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Reduce operational risk through governance and architecture excellence.
