Job description

Help shape the modern workplace behind a global humanitarian organisation.

Technology at DRC has a purpose beyond technology itself.

Our IT services support colleagues working across a global humanitarian organisation, including environments where connectivity, infrastructure and local conditions can be very different from a traditional corporate workplace.

You will join a Global IT organisation that is working to strengthen standardisation, security, automation and the user experience across DRC. For the right person, this is an opportunity to combine strong Microsoft technical expertise with truly meaningful work, international collaboration and the ability to influence how our modern workplace develops.

Why this Role?

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is looking for an experienced Microsoft Cloud & Endpoint Administrator to join our Global IT team in Copenhagen.

This is an opportunity to work hands‑on with Microsoft cloud and endpoint technologies in a truly international environment, while helping thousands of colleagues around the world work securely and effectively.

You will have an important role in how we develop and operate our Microsoft workplace environment, with particular focus on Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, endpoint security and automation.

If you enjoy combining deep technical work with ownership, problem‑solving and continuous improvement - and would like your work to support an organisation with a strong humanitarian purpose — we would like to hear from you.

About the job

As our Microsoft Cloud & Endpoint Administrator, you will be the key technical specialists responsible for DRC's Microsoft cloud and endpoint environment.

You will work across both daily operations and longer‑term improvements. This means solving complex technical issues when needed, but equally importantly, helping us standardise, automate and modernise the way we manage endpoints and cloud services globally.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Global IT, IT Security, Service & Operations and our regional and country IT teams, as well as selected external partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own and continuously improve our Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management environment.
  • Administer and develop Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage the endpoint lifecycle from provisioning and configuration through deployment and retirement.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines and application deployments.
  • Support and improve identity and access management, including Conditional Access and device-based security controls.
  • Monitor endpoint compliance, security posture and device health, and turn findings into improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex Microsoft cloud, identity and endpoint issues and help identify root causes.
  • Use PowerShell and automation to reduce manual work and make IT operations more efficient and scalable.
  • Work closely with IT Security on Zero Trust, endpoint protection and security requirements.
  • Develop technical standards, documentation and operational procedures that can be used consistently across DRC.
  • Contribute to projects involving endpoint modernisation, Microsoft cloud services, security and the digital workplace.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with IT colleagues across DRC's global organisation.
About you

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a technical environment rather than simply maintaining it. You are curious about how things can be improved, comfortable troubleshooting complex problems and able to translate technical knowledge into solutions that work for users.

You will be working with colleagues across countries, cultures and technical backgrounds, so collaboration and communication are just as important as technical expertise.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required
  • Proven experience administering Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot, device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience working within an IT Service Management environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Zero Trust principles, and identity governance.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
  • Experience working in international or NGO environments.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, SC-300, or equivalent
