Job summary

Aarhus University’s Plant-PATH Center of Excellence is seeking a Student Assistant to support administrative activities and conduct occasional laboratory tasks. The role blends office coordination with hands-on research support in an international centre environment.

The position is fixed-term, hourly paid, about 5 hours per week, starting 15 October 2026 and ending 30 June 2027. Applicants should be enrolled as students in natural sciences or related fields and able to work independently with

Qualifications

Enrolled as a student in natural sciences or related field.
Interest in laboratory work and ability to work in a laboratory environment.
Organised, responsible and able to work independently on assigned tasks.
Structured and flexible approach to administrative and practical tasks.
Experience with research communication and website maintenance (Typo3) is an advantage.
Able to collaborate with researchers from diverse backgrounds.
Good written and oral communication in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for day-to-day activities of the Plant-PATH Center.
Assist with practical organisation and coordination of Centre activities.
Support researchers with routine laboratory tasks and other practical work.
Contribute to a well-organised and supportive working environment for the Centre's researchers.
Collaborate closely with Plant-PATH research groups and the Centre Coordinator.
