Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd seeks a Mechanical Engineer for a Copenhagen-based, 12-month contract in Life Sciences. You will design and oversee grey utility systems across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance, operability and maintainability.

You will coordinate with process, piping, electrical, HVAC and civil disciplines, support equipment sizing and procurement, and contribute to brownfield expansions within pharmaceutical facilities.

Qualifications

• Large CAPEX project delivery within pharmaceutical, biotech, API, chemical, or process manufacturing facilities.
• Design and operation of black utility systems including steam, condensate, cooling water, chilled water, compressed air, and industrial gases.
• Brownfield, retrofit, and facility expansion project experience
• Utility system design, sizing, and equipment selection experience

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee grey utility systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review utility designs for compliance, operability, maintainability, and constructability.
• Develop utility system concepts, calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with process, piping, electrical, HVAC, and civil disciplines.
• Support equipment selection, sizing, and procurement activities.
