FirePoint Rocket Technology is building one of the most unique and strategically important industrial projects in Denmark—a new production facility for solid rocket propellant and advanced defense-tech components. Our ambition is significant: we are scaling from the early operational phase to 200+ employees within the next 18 months.
Joining us now means becoming part of the core team shaping a new high-tech, safety-critical production environment from the ground up. We are looking for a Senior Health & Safety Inspector / Manager who will be the architect of our safety systems, ensuring that "Safety First" is never just a slogan, but a lived reality.
As the Senior Health & Safety Inspector / Manager, you will design and implement a comprehensive HSE system for our new manufacturing plant. You will ensure full compliance with Danish legislation and international standards while building a robust culture of protection and accountability across the entire workforce.
You will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)
You will be the accountable owner of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System, managing its integrity, certification lifecycle, and internal audit planning. This role is paramount for ensuring that as we scale, we do so without compromising the well‑being of a single team member.
Develop and implement the plant’s safety system from the ground up.
Integrate HSE requirements into shop‑floor work instructions and SOPs.
Establish and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Ensure full compliance with Arbejdstilsynet regulations, EU directives, and local laws.
Coordinate inspections with external auditors and regulatory bodies in close collaboration with the Quality Assurance Manager.
Act as the primary contact for ISO certification and follow up on all audit findings.
Conduct regular safety walks and inspections across all production areas to identify risks and establish preventive measures.
Develop emergency response plans, safety instructions, and evacuation drills.
Establish a reporting system for safety observations and near‑miss cases.
Deliver safety training programs for all staff, from operators to senior management.
Build a "Safety First" culture where worker safety is prioritized over production speed or volume.
Lead by example, demonstrating a daily commitment to safety practices that others will follow.
A Rare Career Opportunity: Lead the HSE function for one of Denmark's most unique industrial and defense‑tech projects.
Greenfield Impact: The authority to build processes that scale effectively as the plant grows, with zero toxic culture.
Top‑of‑Market Compensation: Competitive salary for the right level of expert experience.
World‑Class Facilities: Work in a brand‑new factory with modern equipment and an office featuring a gym, sauna, and social spaces.
Meaningful Mission: Work that protects freedom, life, and the safety of your colleagues.
You are a systematic, practical, and determined leader with the ability to enforce rules consistently while maintaining transparent communication.
Experience: 10+ years in HSE, Work Environment, or Safety Inspection, preferably within chemical or heavy manufacturing.
Local Expertise: Practical experience in Danish manufacturing environments and direct interaction with Arbejdstilsynet.
Certifications: Relevant OHS certifications (e.g., ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or Danish national certificates).
Proven Track Record: Experience in setting up or transforming HSE systems in complex environments.
Languages: Fluency in English; Danish is considered a strong advantage.
Due to the sensitive defense‑tech nature of our projects and operations, all potential employees are subject to a police and intelligence background check as part of our standard recruitment process. Continued employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance.
