Job summary

Scandic Palace Hotel in Copenhagen is looking for an on-demand housekeeper who takes pride in cleaning to a high standard and greeting guests with a warm smile. You will ensure rooms and public areas are spotless, and you will help maintain tidy stock rooms and storage areas while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires independence, reliability, and a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, preferably in hotels.
• Flexible and able to be called upon as needed.
• Able to work independently and efficiently while delivering friendly service.
• Interest in and understanding of other cultures; ability to greet guests warmly.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public areas to high standards.
• Provide guest contact and guest services as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping stock levels and store rooms in order.
• Handle guest lost property with care and discretion.

Duties

• Cleaning rooms and public areas
• Guest contact and guest service
• Ensuring that Housekeeping’s stock levels and store rooms are in order
• Handling guest’s lost property

Who are you?

• You are flexible and will be able to work when we call on you
• You have cleaning experience, preferably from hotels
• You are able to work independently and efficiently
• You love providing good service and are keen to send our guests on their way with a smile and a friendly greeting
• You are interested in and have a good understanding of other cultures
• You either speak a Nordic language or can make yourself understood in English
