Job summary

Orsted Asia Pacific is seeking a leader to head the Generation Transmission Engineering team, setting technical direction for operating substations and driving capability across regions. You will shape maintenance strategies, reliability programmes, and asset integrity plans throughout the lifecycle, adapting to both onshore and offshore substations.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in engineering operations or asset management, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
Experience leading engineering, operations, or asset management teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with engineering judgement.

Responsibilities

Disciplinary and technical leadership of the Generation Transmission Engineering team (LV Mechanical and HV).
Manage team activity and priorities aligned with Generation Business priorities.
Ensure technical excellence, capability growth, succession planning, and knowledge sharing across regions.
Provide fleet-wide technical oversight for transmission systems within operating substations.
Support Generation region engineering and asset transfer; harmonise resource use.
Develop, maintain and improve maintenance strategies, reliability programmes, and asset integrity plans.
