Lunar, a Nordic challenger bank, is seeking a Head of Finance Transformation & Controlling to join its Copenhagen finance team. You’ll lead the Business Central migration end-to-end, own management reporting and the close, and drive IFRS 9 readiness across groups.

You’ll design controls, run a data quality program, and secure cross-functional data ownership across Finance, Tech and Product. The role combines detailed financial engineering with the influence to land decisions beyond your direct

• Lead Business Central migration end-to-end: COA, dimensions, mappings, deadlines.
• Own management reporting and accelerate close to business-day-five with automation.
• Own group consolidation and IFRS 9 ECL model readiness from accounts to audit.
• Design segregation-of-duties and controls framework for Accounting; single, consistent framework.
• Run data quality program and secure cross-functional data ownership across Finance, Tech and Product.

As our new Head of Finance Transformation & Controlling you’ll join the Finance team based in Copenhagen, reporting to Britta, Director of Finance Operations, working to rebuild how Lunar’s finance function reports, closes and runs on data.

What will you do?

• Lead our Business Central migration end-to-end — design, chart of accounts mapping, dimensions, and the deadline that comes with it

• Own management reporting and drive the close towards a business-day-five target, with automation replacing manual work

• Own group consolidation and IFRS 9 expected credit loss model readiness, from new accounts through to audit readiness

• Design the controls and segregation-of-duties framework that Accounting operates — one framework, not two competing ones

• Run the data quality programme and get cross-functional data ownership agreed across Finance, Tech and Product

What are we looking for in you?

• Experience leading a finance transformation programme in a bank or another regulated financial institution — and taking it to completion

• Hands-on experience of an ERP implementation or migration, with real ownership of chart of accounts and dimension design

• Strong controlling background: management reporting, consolidation, cost control and close acceleration

• Working knowledge of IFRS 9 expected credit loss modelling, or the quantitative grounding and appetite to own it

• Ability to influence across Finance, Tech and Product without line authority — much of this role is landing decisions that aren’t yours to make alone
