Job summary

APM Terminals Aarhus seeks a Head of Finance to lead the terminal’s finance function, overseeing accounting, planning, performance management, and governance, and to act as a strategic partner to the Terminal Managing Director.

The role is office-based at the Aarhus terminal, offering a multinational environment where financial insights influence operational decisions and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the terminal finance function across accounting, control and risk, planning, performance management, and corporate governance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Terminal Managing Director and contribute actively to the senior management team.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, performance management, and data-based decision support.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, timely, and compliant with legal and internal control requirements.
• Maintain a robust, risk-based control framework covering enterprise risk management, fraud prevention, tax, treasury, claims, and insurance.
• Lead finance capabilities and process improvements, including functional initiatives, system changes, and business intelligence.
• Oversee the daily execution of procurement and legal matters while leading, coaching, and developing the finance team.
