APM Terminals Aarhus is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the terminal's finance function, shaping financial planning, performance management, and governance. You will partner with the Terminal Managing Director and contribute to strategic decisions that connect financial results with operations.

You will develop leadership capabilities within the finance team and drive continuous improvement across budgeting, reporting, and investment analysis while ensuring compliance and risk management.

• We are looking for a senior finance leader with a strong background in financial partnering, controlling, or FP&A at business-unit or group level.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, reporting, accounting, and investment analysis with the ability to translate financial data into business insight.
• A strategic yet hands-on leader who understands terminal operations and the business behind the numbers.

At APM Terminals Aarhus, you will join the terminal’s senior management environment and help connect financial performance with operational and strategic decision-making. This is an office-based role located at the terminal in Aarhus.

• Influence strategic and operational decisions through business intelligence, analytics, and data-based insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the terminal finance function across accounting, control and risk, planning, performance management, and corporate governance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Terminal Managing Director and contribute actively to the senior management team.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, performance management, and data-based decision support.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, timely, and compliant with legal and internal control requirements.
• Maintain a robust, risk-based control framework covering enterprise risk management, fraud prevention, tax, treasury, claims, and insurance.
• Lead finance capabilities and process improvements, including functional initiatives, system changes, and business intelligence.
• Oversee the daily execution of procurement and legal matters while leading, coaching, and developing the finance team.
