Job summary

FOSS seeks a Head of Electronics to lead 13 R&D specialists in electronics hardware and embedded software, owning the modular electronics platform and governance across products to drive reuse and efficiency.

You will report to the Director of Technology Innovation and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align strategy and execution across R&D, procurement, production, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or embedded software.
• Experience in people leadership and team management.
• Strong knowledge of modular design and platform governance.
• Ability to connect technical choices with process, quality, supply chain and project needs.
• Experience with process design and facilitating meetings or workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics and embedded software team and develop future leaders.
• Own the modular electronics platform and governance across products.
• Assess architectural trade-offs and manage technical risk.
• Improve platform development processes and cross-functional alignment.
• Plan capacity and build data-driven staffing cases for the team.
