Job summary

XIN CHÀO Kitchen in Randers is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and helm authentic Vietnamese cuisine. You will direct all preparation, menu development, and ensure top standards in hygiene, quality, and presentation.

The role is full-time (37 hours/week) with Danish working conditions and a salary aligning to the Supplerede beløbsordning. You will join a professional team in a friendly, high-volume restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mastery of Vietnamese culinary techniques and authentic dishes.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese herbs, spices, and flavors.
• Experience in high-volume Asian dining or Vietnamese restaurants.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations specializing in authentic Vietnamese specialty dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and supervise all preparation and cooking activities.
• Create and maintain authentic Vietnamese menus and seasonal specialty dishes.
• Ensure strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Requirements:

• Mandatory: Masterful culinary expertise and proven professional experience in preparing authentic Vietnamese specialty dishes.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Vietnamese herbs, spices, flavor profiles, and cooking techniques.
• Prior experience working in established Vietnamese restaurants or high-volume Asian dining establishments.

• Sikre høje standarder for hygiejne, fødevaresikkerhed og rengøring.
• Opretholde høje standarder for madens kvalitet, præsentation og ensartethed.

Kvalifikationer

• Obligatorisk:Fremragende kulinariske kompetencer samt dokumenteret professionel erfaring med tilberedning af autentiske vietnamesiske specialiteter.
• Solidt kendskab til traditionelle vietnamesiske urter, krydderier, smagsprofiler og madlavningsteknikker.
• Tidligere erfaring fra etablerede vietnamesiske restauranter eller asiatiske restauranter med høj aktivitet.
