As the Hardware Team Lead, reporting to the Business Stream Automation Manager, you will provide technical and people leadership for a team of up to 4 Hardware Engineers and Specialists based in Aarhus. The Hardware team is responsible for the electrical design of our processing equipment, including electrical cabinets, motor control systems, instrumentation, power distribution, and machine interfaces. You will work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Automation Software Engineering, Manufacturing, and external panel-building suppliers to develop safe, compliant, and cost-effective machine solutions.

This is primarily a technical leadership role. The successful candidate is expected to actively contribute to engineering activities, drive technical decisions, and elevate the technical competence of the Hardware team. While people leadership is part of the role, proven technical expertise within electrical machine design, compliance, and safety is considered essential.
You hold an Engineering degree or equivalent within Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field and have at least 10 years of experience with industrial electrical design and machine automation.
Previous people management experience is an advantage, but proven technical leadership is considered more important.
