Job summary

Qtechnology is a Newtec Group company focused on hyperspectral camera technology for industrial and research applications. The Hardware Engineer role involves developing next generation imaging hardware, including advanced PCB layouts and FPGA-based circuits, in a collaborative environment.

You will work with Xilinx FPGA platforms, high-end image sensors, and enable hardware-software integration while supporting manufacturability and production testing. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience taking hardware designs from concept to final product with minimal PCB revisions.
• Ability to work independently with board bring up and debugging.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with Xilinx or Altera FPGA PCB design.
• Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of digital electronics, including FPGA, CPU, GPU, and AI based circuits.
• PCB layout and optimization, including generation of production files such as BOM and Gerber files.
• Collaboration with PCB and EMS suppliers regarding production and manufacturing.
• Development of test procedures for PCBA and system level functional testing.
• Technical support for production and optimization of production testing.
• Collaboration with mechanical, FPGA, and software teams to ensure integration between hardware and software.
• Board bring up, debugging, and validation activities.
• Quality assurance of hardware design and component selection.
