Teledyne LeCroy Xena seeks a highly skilled FPGA lead/architect at its Lyngby office to drive the next-generation high-speed FPGA platform. You will define architecture, lead RTL design and implementation, and collaborate across engineering functions to deliver scalable, ultra-fast Ethernet solutions.

The role demands 8–10 years of FPGA experience, strong VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and interactions with vendors. Danish language is a plus; English proficiency is essential.

Qualificações

• 8–10 years’ experience in leading advanced, high-speed FPGA architecture, design and implementation.
• Experience with architecting and developing large systems.
• Experience with FPGA architecture and high-speed design (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog).
• Experience with synthesis and simulation (preferably Xilinx Vivado).
• Experience with data communication, high-speed Ethernet interfaces in particular.
• Good English skills (written and spoken); Danish is an advantage.

Your Position

We are currently looking for a highly skilled FPGA lead/architect/implementor at our Lyngby office, to take a key role in the development of our next-generation platforms. Our new platform is designed for ultra-high speed data processing supporting the fastest current and emerging Ethernet standards such as IEEE802.3dj and Ultra Ethernet. You will be working with the latest - and largest - FPGA devices as soon as they become available, incl. engineering samples. You will take responsibility all the way from feature definition both at the architectural level as well as RTL design and implementation. You will join a talented group of dedicated FPGA developers who share a strong team spirit and enjoy close collaboration with the other functions in Engineering. The Technologies

• Current and emerging Ethernet standards and de-facto standards.
• Complex Ethernet Layer 2/3/4 (MAC/IP/UDP/TCP) traffic generation and analysis
• Advanced Ethernet Layer 1 (PCS/PMA/PMD) features, very close to the hardware
• Leading-edge SerDes technology (both 112Gbps and 224Gbps)
• Advanced high-speed, ultra-wide data path processing
• Flexible and scalable FPGA architecture to be used across entire product line

Your Experience

• Preferably 8-10 years’ experience with leading advanced, high-speed FPGA architecture, design and implementation, e.g. datacom or telecom.
• Experience with architecting and developing large systems
• Experience with FPGA architecture and high-speed design (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Experience with synthesis and simulation (preferably Xilinx Vivado)
• Experience with data communication, high-speed Ethernet interfaces in particular
• Experience with scripting, primarily Python
• Experience implementing network protocols is an advantage
• Good English skills, both written and spoken - Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Engineering background (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree) in electronics or similar
