Job summary

Zenvo Automotive is seeking an experienced Composite Production Lead to join our composites manufacturing team.

Reporting to the Head of Composites, you will coordinate daily carbon fibre production, stay hands-on, and drive process and capability development.

This role blends practical workshop leadership with responsibility for safety, quality and team development as we scale in-house production of carbon fibre components.

Qualifications

• Practical experience manufacturing carbon fibre or composite components.
• Understanding of prepreg lay-up, vacuum bagging, curing and related processes.
• Experience with high-quality composite components in automotive or motorsport.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow manufacturing instructions.
• Good organisational skills and a practical problem-solving approach.
• Experience supervising or supporting other technicians is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily composites manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality.
• Remain hands-on in composite manufacturing while supporting the team.
• Organise workshop priorities, materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain workshop standards: cleanliness, organisation and safe working practices.
• Identify and resolve practical production issues as they arise.
• Work with Head of Composites to improve processes and enable new capabilities.
• Help establish clear work instructions and consistent standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and workshop operations.
• Provide input into tooling, equipment and facility improvements.
