Job summary

Svitzer A/S is seeking a Group Financial Controller to strengthen our Group Finance team at our Copenhagen headquarters. You will work across regions to ensure high-quality financial reporting and governance, with exposure to OneStream and sustainability compliance.

You will partner with Global Business Services and regional teams, driving continuous improvement and acting as a trusted advisor on IFRS and CSRD matters while participating in audits and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Residence in Denmark with valid Danish work permit.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance and minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting and controlling; basic IFRS knowledge.
• Interest in sustainability reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency with finance IT tools and reporting platforms; OneStream is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly financial controlling for the Group, collaborating with Group Finance, Global Business Services and regional teams.
• Prepare consolidated financial analysis and provide ad-hoc insights for Senior Management.
• Develop expertise in the OneStream consolidation system and lead related initiatives.
• Deliver training/workshops for the Svitzer Finance community and support governance updates.
• Engage with external and internal auditors during interim and year-end audits; provide business partnering on IFRS and CSRD sustainability matters.
