Job summary

UNFPA Copenhagen invites applications for Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist (Manager) to lead the GRC function within the Supply Chain Management Unit. The role embeds governance, risk management, internal controls and compliance across SCM operations and reports to the Head of Pillar 3 – Quality Management.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in governance, risk, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance in an international setting.
• Experience in supply chain management and health commodities is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GRC function within UNFPA's SCMU, embedding governance and internal controls across operations.
• Coordinate audits, assurance activities and management actions.
• Develop capacity-strengthening initiatives and mentor staff in GRC practices.
• Provide governance, risk management and advisory support across supply chain processes and products.
• Foster partnerships and collaborate with HQ, regional and country offices, and external partners.
• Oversee team management, continuous improvement, and alignment with UNFPA strategy.
