Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an Associate Project Director to join the Global Trial Portfolio Executive Office. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into high-impact initiatives and lead transformation projects across functions, ensuring sustainable business outcomes.

In this role, you will influence global decisions, manage complex programmes, and contribute to Novo Nordisk's ambitious R&D strategy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Approximately 6+ years of experience in strategic advisory, consulting or related industry roles.
• Proven track record leading strategy, transformation and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or another scientifically complex environment.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and executive communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and transformation projects from problem definition to implementation and impact tracking.
• Translate priorities into actionable plans, governance frameworks, milestones and success measures.
• Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment across GTP, R&D and related business areas.
• Support executive decision-making with robust analyses, recommendations and communication materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance and organisational effectiveness and deliver tangible results.
