Job summary

Frey in Aarhus seeks a Senior Sustainability Lead to own our sustainability strategy across global commodity supply chains. Based at our headquarters in Aarhus, you will define priorities, build the strategic framework, and embed responsible sourcing into how we do business.

Your mandate will be measured by tangible outcomes with producers, certifications and leadership, serving as Frey's global ESG advisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in sustainability, ESG, or responsible sourcing.
• Strong understanding of physical commodity supply chains from origin to destination.
• Experience implementing sustainability initiatives with measurable impact.
• Knowledge of CSRD and certification schemes (Rainforest Alliance, RSPO, Fairtrade, etc.).
• Experience with supplier engagement, traceability and reporting.
• Strong English communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own Frey's sustainability strategy, framework and operating model.
• Establish standards across product verticals and certification programs.
• Act as global ESG subject matter expert translating regulations into solutions.
• Build relationships with producers, logistics partners and counterparties.
• Define KPIs and data/reporting processes for informed decisions.
• Ensure CSRD reporting is integrated with operational practices.
• Pursue a 12-month full-time project with potential for permanent position.
