Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Søborg, Denmark, seeks a Global Search and Evaluation Associate Director to shape Novo's future portfolio by identifying promising assets and leading their evaluation from first look through due diligence. You will work across diabetes, obesity, liver and cardiovascular disease, and consumer Rx, collaborating with R&D, commercial and external partners to turn science into partnerships.

Travel 10–20% (overnight, possibly international) and report to the Head of Global Evaluation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years with an MD/PhD.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex evaluations.
• Excellent written communication, presentation and stakeholder management.
• Strong strategic business and financial acumen with curiosity about life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to identification of novel pipeline assets and enabling technologies.
• Drive in-depth, cross-functional evaluations and due diligence from initial assessment to recommendations.
• Support licencing and collaborations negotiations in alignment with Search, Evaluation & Intelligence.
• Maintain business development landscapes and feed insights into therapy area strategies.
• Represent Novo at partnering events and build relationships with biotech and pharma partners.
