Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks a Global Search & Evaluation Associate Director in Søborg to drive assessment of external science and potential partnerships. You will identify promising assets, lead evaluation from first look to due diligence, and influence priority setting across diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease and other areas.

You will combine scientific depth with commercial judgement, build strong networks, and guide senior stakeholders with clear, well-founded recommendations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years with a Master’s degree or 10+ years with an MD/PhD in related fields.
• Proven project management skills and experience.
• Ability to analyse complex ideas and data and translate into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills; networking and collaboration capabilities.
• Strong strategic business and financial acumen with curiosity about life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of external drug assets and enabling technologies from initial assessment to due diligence.
• Drive in-depth, cross-functional evaluations and due diligence.
• Support negotiations of licenses and collaborations in line with evaluation processes.
• Build and maintain business development landscapes and feed insights to therapy area strategies.
• Represent Novo Nordisk at partnering events and conferences.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to move opportunities quickly through the funnel.
