Job summary

Vestas Technology & Operations invites an experienced professional to join as a Work Experience Specialist focused on global SCADA initiatives. You will bridge regional SCADA teams with R&D, Digital Solutions, and central functions to shape product roadmaps and delivery priorities.

You will coordinate international stakeholders, drive strategic programs, and lead cross-functional efforts to improve SCADA deployment, governance, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in automation/control/electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience managing complex initiatives and programs.
• Experience with SCADA or similar complex technical systems a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~15 days/year.

Responsibilities

• Act as global Product Line focal point for SCADA solutions, connecting regional engineering teams with R&D, Digital Solutions, and other central functions

Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO) serves as the integrated CTO and COO organization within Vestas, covering the entire industrial value chain-from Research & Development, Procurement, and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality.To ensure customer centricity and successful delivery of customer projects, VTO operates through a Product Line organization composed of Regional Technology teams supported by Global Functions. This setup manages regional technical front-end activities across the entire customer project lifecycle, while also serving as the ears to the market and the voice of the customer within the broader organization.Global Power Plant Solutions is one of the Global Functions responsible for enabling the regional technical front-end colleagues with Technical- and Functional Excellence within Cybersecurity, SCADA and Grid connection.

Responsibilities

In this global role, you will bring experience working in technical environments and a product-oriented mindset, acting as the primary interface between regional SCADA teams and central functions, including R&D, Service, and Digital Solutions. You will coordinate stakeholders, drive priorities, and support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

• Act as the global Product Line focal point for SCADA solutions, connecting regional engineering teams with R&D, Digital Solutions, and other central functions
• Facilitate and enhance Vestas' approach to capturing, refining, and prioritizing SCADA market, regulatory, and operational requirements
• Represent regional business needs in global development projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful product delivery
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve SCADA deployment processes, automation capabilities, governance, and operational excellence across regions
• Manage and facilitate global SCADA communities of practice, driving knowledge sharing, capability building, training, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline
• Demonstrated project or program management experience, including planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and execution of complex initiatives
• Experience working with complex technical systems, digital technologies, or engineering solutions, ideally within renewable energy, industrial, or other infrastructure-intensive industries. Familiarity with SCADA solutions is an advantage.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and international matrix organizations
• Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence decisions across technical and non-technical audiences
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in English, capable of aligning diverse global stakeholders around common objectives
• Technical curiosity and systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to understand complex architectures and identify practical solutions
• Strong project leadership capabilities with a structured approach to prioritization, execution, and change management
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance commercial, operational, and technical considerations
• Analytical and strategic thinker who can transform ambiguous challenges into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
