Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, is seeking an Automation Manager for Operational Technology in Moulding. You will own global automation software and equipment, spanning PLCs, robotics, and networked systems, to support high-quality moulding operations.

You will work with OT, MD&I, R&D and maintenance to standardize and future-proof solutions while traveling globally as needed. The role requires cross-functional coordination, strong communication, and the ability to drive secure, scalable

Qualifications

Experience delivering PLC design, programming, installation and troubleshooting in industrial automation.
Experience managing complex automation platforms with PLCs and robotic applications.
Experience with Ethernet/IP and OPC UA networks in industrial environments.
Implemented functional safety solutions using safety controllers and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Own production software and automation equipment on a global platform for moulding.
Collaborate cross-functionally with MD&I, OT, maintenance and production teams.
Standardize and future-proof automation solutions to enable high-quality manufacturing.
Bridge between OT and MD&I to align goals and strategy in moulding technology.
Drive platform improvements, reliability, and scalability across sites.
