Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking an Automation Manager, Operational Technology - Moulding, to own the production software and automation equipment on a global platform powering moulding operations. You will drive standardization, reliability, and scalability while coordinating with OT, MD&I, maintenance and production teams.

You will travel up to 30–40 days per year to deploy solutions, operate in a cross-functional setup, and help shape the future of moulding technology across LEGO Group.

Qualifications

• Delivered PLC design, programming, installation, and troubleshooting in industrial automation environments.
• Managed complex automation platforms involving PLCs and robotic applications.
• Applied industrial network technologies including Ethernet/IP and OPC UA.
• Implemented functional safety solutions using safety controllers and electrical systems.
• Produced and interpreted technical specifications, equipment requirements, and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own production software and automation equipment on a global platform used across moulding operations.
• Collaborate with OT, R&D, maintenance and production to standardize and future-proof solutions.
• Bridge Manufacturing Design & Implementation and OT to align goals and strategy.
• Communicate across departments and manage cross-functional information flow.
• Travel 30–40 days per year to deploy and support the platform worldwide.
