Job summary

Ascendis Pharma, a global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a seasoned Global Mobility lead to establish and manage our mobility framework, ensuring compliance across multiple countries while partnering with HR, legal and external vendors.

Based in Hellerup with occasional travel (about 10 days/year), you will shape policy, processes and governance, balancing employee experience with business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience within global mobility, immigration, international HR and employment tax.
• In-depth knowledge of immigration, work authorization, and business travel compliance.
• Experience coordinating cross-border taxation and social security matters.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Ascendis' global mobility strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
• Establish governance, principles, and decision frameworks for international mobility.
• Ensure mobility programs balance employee experience, business flexibility and compliance.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for immigration requirements and travel-related compliance.
• Identify and manage risks related to immigration, employment law, cross-border taxation and social security.
• Build scalable workflows for work permit applications, visa administration, traveler compliance, and cross-border moves.
