Job summary

Ascendis Pharma, based in Hellerup, Denmark, seeks an Associate Director of IT Compliance to lead GxP-regulated IT governance, risk management, and regulatory alignment. You will guide agile product teams, ensure validation and data privacy compliance, and act as a trusted advisor across Global IT.

Based in Hellerup, you will report to the Global Head of Digitalization and collaborate with cross-functional teams while promoting a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and practical,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with strong IT understanding.
• 10+ years experience in GxP-regulated pharma IT environments.
• Experience with SOX controls and compliance processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FDA/EMA) and data privacy.
• Proven ability to train and coach colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support IT product teams in GxP-regulated environments.
• Provide compliance consultancy across IT discipline, quality, validation, testing and regulatory requirements.
• Support SOX control activities with a team colleague.
• Maintain IT QMS and reflect regulatory changes in IT governance procedures.
• Develop and deliver training and compliance education to IT teams.
