Job summary

Maersk Copenhagen is seeking a Marine Labour Relations Manager to lead investigations, ensure respectful handling of harassment and discrimination cases, and contribute to a safe and inclusive workplace for thousands of seafaring colleagues.

You will work within the Marine People & Culture Team, coordinating with global stakeholders and ensuring compliance with CBAs, wage scales, and maritime labour regulations across a 34-nation crew.

Qualifications

• Experience handling employee complaint cases and conflicts.
• Ability to implement compliance in an operational manner.
• Experience with global labor relations.
• Experience managing CBAs and wage scales for seafarers.
• Knowledge of MLC regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive investigations in a respectful, thorough, and strategic manner.
• Update and develop processes and procedures for labor relations.
• Monitor compliance with CBAs, international regulations, and local law.
• Draft and optimize standard document templates for marine labor relations.
• Contribute to ad hoc compliance projects within Marine People & Culture.
• Benchmark wage scales for seafarers on an international level.
