KOMPAN Global is seeking a General Counsel to lead the in-house legal function at our global headquarters in Odense. You will advise Group Management and business leaders across our international organization, ensuring top-quality legal support for sound decision-making and sustainable growth.

Ideal candidates hold a Master of Laws and have strong experience in Intellectual Property Law and M&A, with the ability to operate in a global business environment and balance legal with commercial

Qualifications

• Master of Laws degree (Cand.jur., LL.M. or equivalent).
• Significant experience from an international company or a law firm.
• Strong track record in Intellectual Property Law and M&A.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to Group Management and stakeholders across the business.
• Lead and manage the IP portfolio including trademarks, patents, copyrights, designs, and IP disputes.
• Support mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions including due diligence and contract negotiations.
• Handle insurance/claims processes.
• Manage IP infringement issues and trademarks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Handle legal proceedings and corporate governance tasks.
• Provide legal support on HR-related matters.
