Job summary

KOMPAN is seeking a General Counsel for its Legal & Compliance team at the Odense HQ. You will act as a trusted advisor to Group Management and business leaders globally, delivering high-quality legal support across the organization to enable sound decision-making and sustainable growth.

You will lead the in-house function with emphasis on IP law and M&A, protect the intellectual property portfolio, and navigate complex legal matters across jurisdictions while working with stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Master of Laws degree (Cand.jur., LL.M. or equivalent).
• Significant experience from an international company or a law firm.
• Strong track record in Intellectual Property Law and M&A transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to Group Management and stakeholders across the business.
• Lead and manage KOMPAN's intellectual property portfolio (trademarks, patents, copyrights, designs, IP disputes).
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence and contract negotiations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Manage legal proceedings and corporate governance matters.
• Support on legal HRrelated matters.
