Job summary

Cobham Satcom is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead the company’s global security and compliance agenda while expanding into European defense markets. The role reports to the CIO and will set the security agenda across Europe and the US.

You will embed newly acquired certifications into daily operations, ensuring a security posture aligned with strategic defense expansion. The position involves 30–50 days of travel and is based at the headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Execution-oriented security leader with international, high-tech experience.
• Experience navigating defense/aerospace/regulatory industries.
• Strong grasp of ISO 27001, CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, NIS2.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute Cobham Satcom’s global cybersecurity strategy.
• Operationalize CMMC Level 2 and ISO 27001 across operations.
• Lead NIS2 compliance across US, EU, and NATO markets.
