Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Denmark (Glostrup) seeks an Associate Vice President of Clinical R&D to lead the global organization responsible for developing clinical diagnostic solutions. You will drive execution of the product roadmap across assays, instruments, software, and integrated workflows, and build a high-performing, regulated, cross-functional team.

The role requires a track record in medical devices or IVD development, leadership of global teams, and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, software, or technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of product-development experience in medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading global, multidisciplinary teams and launching complex products.
• Experience spanning reagents, assays, instruments, software, systems engineering, or clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute the CDD Development in partnership with the Clinical & Diagnostics Division leadership team.
• Own the execution of developing the product roadmap across solutions encompassing assays, instruments, software, and integrated solutions.
• Lead new product development from concept through design transfer, and commercialization.
• Ensure programs meet customer, clinical, technical, quality, regulatory, financial, and schedule objectives.
• Align R&D with Product Management, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, and field organizations.
