Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. is seeking a strategic leader to head Clinical R&D in Denmark. The Associate Vice President will drive the global development program for clinical diagnostic solutions, spanning assays, instruments, software, and workflows.

This executive will ensure alignment with Quality, Regulatory, and commercial teams while delivering on regulatory-ready product roadmaps. The role requires a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific/engineering/technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of product development experience in medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible global, multidisciplinary leadership experience.
• Experience spanning reagents, assays, instruments, software, systems engineering or clinical workflows; strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Clinical R&D organization for Agilent’s clinical diagnostic solutions.
• Drive execution of the product roadmap across assays, instruments, software, and integrated workflows.
• Oversee development programs from concept through design transfer and commercialization; ensure objectives are met.
• Align R&D with Product Management, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and other functions.
