Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Sr. Category Manager for Automation & MRO to lead global category direction for operational technologies, focusing on automation and robotics.

You will shape long-term sourcing strategies and guide supplier selection across LEGO's global operations, partnering with engineering, manufacturing and planning teams. Based in Billund, DK, with a hybrid work policy, you will drive governance, supplier consolidation, and resilience for critical suppliers while engaging senior

Qualifications

• Led procurement and category management in an international company for 5+ years.
• Managed spend portfolios of at least 100 mDKK.
• Built relationships with strategic suppliers and engaged senior stakeholders (L4-L5).
• Negotiated commercial agreements and managed contract lifecycles for large spend areas.
• Partnered with engineering/planning and worked with automation and robotics suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end global category plan for automation and robotics.
• Drive global MRO governance, standardisation, and supplier consolidation across sites.
• Increase commercial readiness across supplier base and support manufacturing maturity.
• Create a scalable supplier ecosystem through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Establish supply chain resilience and business continuity plans for critical suppliers.
• Act as the single procurement point of contact for contracts and alignment with stakeholders.
• Connect emerging automation tech with supplier capabilities to support future business needs.
