Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking an International Area Sales Manager to drive sales of Small Scale Spray Dryers and work closely with our global teams in sales, engineering, and application development.

You will lead the full sales journey from initial dialogue to signed contract, with international travel and collaboration across markets. A chemical or mechanical engineering background and proven project sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with solid work experience.
• Familiar with production processes in Food, Pharma, or Chemical industries and able to translate into plant design.
• Successful track record in technical project sales with cross‑cultural understanding.
• Business sense to handle negotiations independently and engage virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales pipelines and participate in customer visits.
• Help customers translate requirements into drying solutions.
• Calculate prices, write quotations, and follow up.
• Present solutions and advantages to customers.
• Conduct commercial and technical contract negotiations.
• Participate in tests of potential solutions at the test facility.
• Conduct market research and represent GEA at international exhibitions and conferences.
